Michael J. Foty, CPL, PLT, Owner, is a Certified Professional Locksmith, (CPL) and a Power Limited Technician, (PLT) with over 30 years of full time dedication to the locksmith trade. He received his initial education from F.I.R.S.T.  Institute in Minneapolis, graduated top of his class and was subsequently hired by the company that owned the school, Floyd Lock & Safe (known today as Floyd Total Security) the largest lock company in the country.

Mike rose up through various levels of management to Security Consultant where he served for 14 years until taking a position with a world wide corporation. There, he served as the regional security director handling security for hundreds of locations in nine states. After one year he decided to return to locksmithing, raise his family in a small community and operate his own business. Mike purchased Dishong Locksmith Services on April 21, 1997 and began the process of growing his new company into a full time, full service lock company. Today, Foty Lock & Safe is a premium service provider for the full range of locksmith services.
